Dear colleagues and friends,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the Fourth Pan-Asia Pacific Conference on Mental Health (PAPCMH) in Shanghai, China, which will be held from November 14th to 17th, 2005. The past three PAPCMH sponsored by China Association for Mental Health were held in 1994, 1998 and 2001 respectively in Beijing. Many experts and scholars, who came from Pan-Asia Pacific regions and different provinces and cities of China, attended the conferences and successfully made academic communications on mental health.
The Fourth Pan-Asia Pacific Conference on Mental Health will provide you a special opportunity to exchange experiences and the latest information on mental health. During the conference, we will host lectures and symposia from a wide range of issues on scientific advances and mental health, including such topics as culture, society, marriage and family, violence and crime, depression and anxiety, substance abuse, suicide etc.
We will work together and make contributions to the development of mental health in the 21th century through learning from each other.
The agenda of the conference includes special lectures and reports on achievements in scientific research and experience exchanges on mental health.
We warmly welcome you with open arms, and hope that you will have a scientifically and socially productive experience in Shanghai.
Sincerely yours,
